Vera is a coastal town, one of the largest towns in the immediate area which boasts a long stretch of beach as well as a golf course. Vera town has a long history spanning over 500 years, and is home to several historic attractions, including the church in the main square and the bullring. Vera town is home to an array of amenities, including several supermarket chains, an Iceland supermarket for English goods, a wide variety of shops, bars & restaurants of which Juan Moreno and Terraza Carmona are the more famous, garden centres, banks, a recently refurbished 24-hour health centre, pharmacies and a hugely busy weekly street market held every Saturday morning.
