Garrucha is a long coastal town situated in the province of Almeria, with a well-sized and elegant port. Garrucha is home to many bars & restaurants which are famous for their gambas rojas de Garrucha (some of the most famous red prawns in the world). Measuring just over 8km², Garrucha attracts thousands of visitors every year. Highlights in the calendar include daily night markets in the summer months, the arrival of the Three Kings by boat in early January and the Feria de San Joaquin from the 14th until the 18th of August every calendar year.

With this coastal town receiving almost 3000 hours of sunshine a year and as little as 2mm of rain in some months, you are almost guaranteed to wake up to a sunny blue sky on your doorstep. Garrucha has many amenities, everything from ice cream parlours to clothing stores. Garrucha is also home to 3 large supermarkets offering a wide range of products.
