Los Gallardos is a typical friendly Spanish village located at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera mountains. The village is situated just 10km inland from the Mediterranean coastline of Mojacar, Garrucha & Vera Playa. The population in Los Gallardos is approx. 2800, with a mix of British, Belgian & Dutch expats and Spanish residents. The position of the village offers stunning views across the entire area; with the back drop of the Sierra Cabrera mountain range down to the distant Mediterranean Sea.
Los Gallardos is home to a wide variety of bars & restaurants, local supermarkets, bakeries, banks, hairdressers, beauty salon, pharmacy, tobacconist & an open-air municipal pool with sports centre. There is also a bustling street market held every Tuesday offering everything from clothes & shoes to the freshest fruit & veg.
The campsite of Los Gallardos is also a popular destination with a bar and restaurant open to the public as well as a pool area. The campsite also boasts special events with entertainers from various regions coming to perform.
