El Contador is a very pretty village with stunning mountain surroundings. The current owners chose this location for its wide selection of outdoor pursuits including walking & mountain biking. The village is approx. 50 minutes inland from the coast of Aguilas. The airports of Almeria & Murcia can be reached within 90 minutes, and Alicante airport is approx. 2 hours´ drive.

This terrace can easily accomodate a table & chairs. From here, a further set of steps lead up to the roof terrace with panoramic views of the village & surrounding mountains. Chirivel is an inland village situated within the Los Velez area of Almeria and part of the Sierra de Maria Natural Park. The nearest towns are Velez Rubio (19km), Oria (17km) & Velez Blanco (24km).
